"MELTING GIANTS" is an Audiovisual LIVE show with an imprint of electronic and classical improvisation, underlined by strong images of the melting and disapearing glaciers (caused by climate change) of the bavarian, austrian and swiss Alps.

LIVE ON STAGE
Daniela La Luz composes her electronic pieces with drum machine, computer, vocals and real-time LIVE improvisations.
Solo and with changing guest musicians.
Daniela sings in English, German, Polish and Bavarian.
Impressive pictures and videos of the rapidly melting glaciers in the Alps, are cut together with effects and animations, as well as headlines of the international press to the impressive, visual component as A/V music program.

Audiovisuelles LIVE-Konzert mit einer Mischung aus elektronischer und klassischer Improvisation, untermalt von starken Bildern der schmelzenden und verschwindenden Gletscher (verursacht durch den Klimawandel) der bayerischen, österreichischen und schweizer Alpen.

Audio trifft auf animierte Fotografien und Videos und wird zu musikalischer und visueller Kunst.
Das Gletschersterben wird künstlerisch interpretiert und dokumentiert.
Unser Projekt „Melting Giants“ beschäftig sich mit dem Abschmelzen der Gletscher in den Alpen, aufgrund der Klimaerwärmung. Fotografie und Bewegtbilder werden mit Musik werden im Rahmen eines audiovisuelles Live-Konzerts miteinander verbunden.

Eindrucksvolle Bilder und Videos von den rapide schmelzenden Gletschern in den Alpen, werden mit Effekten und Animationen, sowie Schlagzeilen der internationalen Presse zur eindrucksvollen, visuellen Komponente als A/V Musikprogramm zusammengeschnitten.

SCIENCE & WHAT´S GOING ON WITH THE GLACIERS AND EARTH?

"The alps and other high mountains are the planets thermometers"
​
2023 was globally the hottest summer in over 100000 years.
In a few years our million years aged glaciers in the alps will be melted away. Forever.
​
The glaciers fading fragments, become silent witnesses of the human error, our light hearted ability of turning nourishing life into death, in continuous carelessness.
​
"Melting Giants" is artistically interpreting and documenting the last years of the glaciers in the german alps
Sounds of breaking, melting glaciers, it´s ice, all musically arranged in the purpose of coincidence, because each death is unique. A big part of the music will be improvised as matter of the moment.
​
The manmade Climate Change has entered our lives slow, but steady, what led to the fact that in a few years, the glaciers of the alps will be gone. Instead of thousands of year old natures treasure in the form ice, massive stones will be exposed to bright sunlight instead.
​
Let´s globally unite and save the beauties of our earth, our everyday life, as well as our living companions, the unbelievable colorful diversity of animals, plants, micro organisms, bacteria and so on.
